Organizational Development programmes
CAPA supports the efforts of public service organizations for organizational development with the design, provision and facilitation of development activities which concern: (a) the diagnosis of the existing situation, (b) the exploration of possible improvements and (c) the undertaking of initiatives by the organizations themselves to promote improvements.
These activities are in a fruitful relation of interaction and synergy with the organization of training programmes. On the one hand, training programmes lead to management development initiatives in the trainees’ organizations, achieving in this way a transfer of learning from the classroom to the workplace; on the other hand, management development activities require, and derive support form further training.
