New Publication: Adult Education Survey, 2006

The Statistical Service of Cyprus announces that it has published the ad-hoc report ‘Adult Education Survey, 2006’. The information presented refers to the participation of the population aged 25-64 in learning activities during the previous 12 months. This participation is analysed by type of learning activity, gender, age group, highest educational attainment level, labour status, district and urban/rural area. Also, information is presented regarding the expenditure for participating, the taught hours received, the reason for participating and the obstacles the participant has faced. Additionally, other information related to the participation in learning activities is presented, such as foreign language use and cultural participation.
The report can be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Statistical Service under the section Publications (Category: Ad-hoc and Research Reports, Theme: Population and Social Conditions, Subtheme: Education). The paper publication can be obtained from the offices of the Statistical Service in Nicosia.
