LATEST FIGURES: REVENUE FROM TOURISM, DEC 2006

On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached £28,8mn in December 2006 compared to £30,3mn in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording a decrease of 5,2%.

For the period January – December 2006 revenue from tourism is estimated to £ 1.027,3mn compared to £ 1.005,7mn in the corresponding period of 2005, recording an increase of 2,2%.
