With the entry into force of the Public Debt Management Law (publication in the Official Gazette on 21/12/2012), the Loan (Development ) Laws, the Cyprus Treasury Bills Law, the Loan (Savings) Law and the regulations issued under such laws, are repealed.
The powers, rights and obligations of the Republic of Cyprus with regard to the existing debt entered into in pursuance to the laws and regulations which are repealed, continue to apply until the final settlement of the said loan and the loan agreements entered into and the securities issued prior to the coming into force of the present law, remain in force.

The legal framework of public debt management in Cyprus comprises
(i) The Public Debt Management Laws of 2012 to 2016
(ii) The Public Debt Management Regulations (Collective Action Clauses)
