Economic Operators Registration & Identification System (EORI)

Economic Operators Registration & Identification System (EORI) was created to help the registration of economic operators, according to article 9 of the Union Customs Code 2013/952 (UCC ).

EORI number is a unique number, given by customs authorities of a member state, in economic operators or other persons for custom purposes, valid in all EU. Regulations related to EORI number registration are in the following articles:


In order to fully take advantage of these, EORI number holders can use their numbers, if this number is given to them, in their communication with customs authorities in EU, whenever customs code identification is necessary.
