Latest Figures: Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade, Final Data Feb 2012 and Provisional Data Mar 2012

The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for February 2012 amounted 115,9 units, recording a decrease of 2,1 units or 1,8% compared to 118,0 units in January 2012. The Index increased by 3,3 units or 2,9% compared to February 2011.
For the period January-February 2012 the Index recorded an increase of 2,1% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.

According to provisional estimates the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for March 2012 increased by 8,5 units or 7,3% to 124,4 units compared to 115,9 units in February 2012. For the period January-March 2012 the Index is provisionally estimated to have an increase of 1,6% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.
