Latest Figures: Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade, Final Data Sep 2011 and Provisional Data Oct 2011

The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for September 2011 amounted 134,8 units, recording a decrease of 1,4 units or 1,0% compared to 136,2 units in August 2011. The Index increased by 3,7 units or 2,8% compared to September 2010.
For the period January-September 2011 the Index recorded an increase of 4,6% compared to the corresponding period of 2010.

According to provisional estimates the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for October 2011 decreased by 1,5 units or 1,1% to 133,3 units compared to 134,8 units in September 2011. For the period January-October 2011 the Index is provisionally estimated to have an increase of 4,4% compared to the corresponding period of 2010.
