New Publication: Intra-Extra EU Trade Statistics (summarised data), Dec 2010

The Statistical Service of Cyprus announces that it has published the monthly report “Intra-Extra E.U Trade Statistics (Summarised Data)” December 2010.

The main developments in Cyprus foreign trade were:

(a) Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) in January-December 2010 amounted to €6.460,9mn as compared to €5.691,8mn in January-December 2009. Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States) in January-December 2010 were €1.144,3mn compared to €970,4mn in January-December 2009. The trade deficit was €5.316,7mn in January-December 2010 compared to €4.721,3mn in the corresponding period of 2009.

(b) During December 2010 total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) valued at €541,3mn.

(c) Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States), including stores and provisions, in December 2010 amounted to €103,3mn. Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, were €47,4mn whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, were €55,9mn.

The monthly report “Intra-Extra E.U Trade Statistics (Summarised Data)” for December 2010 is available from the Printing Office of the Republic of Cyprus in Nicosia at the price of €3,00. The report is also available for download free of charge from the website of the Statistical Service.
