Latest Figures: Imports, Sales and Stocks of Petroleum Products, Nov 2020

In November 2020, the total sales of petroleum products amounted to 94.608 tonnes, recording a decrease of 21,0% compared to November 2019. A fall was observed in the provisions of aviation kerosene by 66,0% as well as in the sales of motor gasoline by 15,9% and gasoil low sulphur by 4,6%. As far as the sales from filling stations are specifically concerned, these have registered a fall of 8,9% to 52.292 tonnes.

The total sales of petroleum products in November 2020 compared to October 2020 recorded a decrease of 10,5%. A fall was recorded in the provisions of aviation kerosene by 46,0% and marine gasoil by 10,6%, as well as in the sales of light fuel oil by 43,3%, motor gasoline by 17,1% and gasoil low sulphur by 8,4%. On the contrary, an increase was observed in the sales of kerosene, gasoil and liquefied petroleum gases.

The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of November 2020 recorded an increase of 12,1% compared to the end of the previous month.

During the period January – November 2020, the total sales of petroleum products registered a decrease of 19,1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
