Latest Figures: Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade, Final Data Jul 2012 and Provisional Data Aug 2012

The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for July 2012 amounted 137,5 units, recording an increase of 3,2 units or 2,4% compared to 134,3 units in June 2012. The Index decreased by 8,1 units or 5,6% compared to July 2011.
For the period January-July 2012 the Index recorded a decrease of 1,9% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.

According to provisional estimates the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for August 2012 decreased by 3,4 units or 2,5% to 134,1 units compared to 137,5 units in July 2012. For the period January-August 2012 the Index is provisionally estimated to have a decrease of 1,7% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.
