Latest Figures: Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade, Final Data May 2012 and Provisional Data Jun 2012

The Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade for May 2012 amounted 109,6 units, recording an increase of 3,3 units or 3,1% compared to 106,3 in April 2012. The Index decreased by 3,9 units or 3,4% compared to May 2011.
For the period January-May 2012 the Index recorded a decrease of 2,9% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.
According to provisional estimates the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade for June 2012 increased by 7,4 units or 6,7% to 117,0 units compared to 109,6 in May 2012. For the period January-June 2012, the Index is provisionally estimated to have a decrease of 2,8% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.
