Latest Figures: Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade, Final Data Mar 2012 and Provisional Data Apr 2012

The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for March 2012 amounted 122,3 units, recording an increase of 6,1 units or 5,2% compared to 116,2 units in February 2012. The Index decreased by 1,3 units or 1,1% compared to March 2011.
For the period January-March 2012 the Index recorded an increase of 1,2% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.

According to provisional estimates the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for April 2012 increased by 3,7 units or 3,0% to 126,0 units compared to 122,3 units in March 2012. For the period January-April 2012 the Index is provisionally estimated to have a decrease of 0,4% compared to the corresponding period of 2011.
