ANNOUNCEMENT The Inland Revenue Department informs all traders and suppliers of services (individuals and legal persons) that with 2011 and during the first months of 2012, authorised officers shall be performing on site visits in order to determine the proper issuing of invoices and receipts and the their legality, in accordance to the current laws of the Department. Also, in accordance with section 9 (Deductible Expenses) of the Income Tax Law L118(Ι)/2002 as amended, no deduction is given - (i) when expenses that are not supported by invoices and receipts or other evidence provided for by *Regulations* (*P.I.29/1997, P.I.179/1997, P.I.108/2005 and P.I.224/2010*) issued in accordance to subsection (1) of section 30 of the Assessement and collection Law - The above laws and regulationa are available in Greek at the Inland Revenue's Website (http://www.mof.gov.cy/ird) under the title Νομοθεσία. The Inland Revenue Department urges all persons which fall into the above categories to comply immediately and completely with the current provisions of the law. (G.
