In accordance with the instructioons of the Central Bank of Cyprus, as from the 1.1.2008 the transfer of funds in Euro must now be sent tο the Central Bank via the TARGET 2 platform.
Additionally as from 1.1.2012, according to circular no. 1679 of the Accountant General, cheques issued by foreign banks are no longer accepted. For this reason all persons affected must use the above proceedure.
As from 7/12/2011, the jccsmart payment system is available for payments of self assessments and tax withheld which are in time. Payments that are not in time will not be accepted.
