Mission Statement - Vision
Γραφείο Επιτρόπου Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα
The primary task of the Public Debt Management Office is the design and implementation of the appropriate government policy in the field of public debt management subject to domestic and international financial conditions and outlook.
The above mission is achieved on the basis of two different but interlinked pillars: firstly, through the application of a medium-term public debt management strategy, and secondly, through the implementation of the Action Plan approved by the Council of Ministers for the further development and strengthening of the infrastructure for the management of the public debt.
The implementation of the above actions constitutes a necessary condition for the achievement of the ultimate objective of public debt management: ensuring that the state's financing needs are met at acceptable risk levels in the medium term with the lowest possible medium-term costs.
