The Republic of Cyprus has sought and received a second party opinion from ISS Corporate Solutions, a market leading SPO provider, in order to provide independent review of the Republic’s Sustainable Finance Framework (project “Mouflon”) against relevant sustainable finance standards. The opinion provided by ISS verifies that the Framework is in line with the ICMA (International Capital Markets Association) Green, Social and Sustainable Bond Principles, has a positive impact on a number of UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and is consistent with the sustainability strategy of the Republic.
